Still doing mechanical repair

Why did you buy this particular car?: An uncommon vehicle, a sporty look for a medium size car, 
the car is comfortable & a pleasure to drive.

Any interesting facts about this car?: had multiple factory defects in the electrical System.

Who helped you restore this car?: Car is not fully restored, an on going process. Tom Simone of Tom's Performance, Syracuse New York was able to correct the factory defects,

Where & when did you find this car?: I found this car at a junkyard. The car was the owners sons vehicle and he no longer wanted it so I jumped on it.

What condition was it in: It needs restoration. Overall it was in decent shape. I had to replace the pinion bearing and replace the plugs and wires. The undercarriage is solid which is good for a NY car.

What's the condition currently? What have you done to it?: It is in much better shape than when I purchased it. I replaced the pinion bearing, plugs and wires, rear hatch shocks an had 3.73 gears put in it. It is getting a fresh paint job on the hood and rear hatch April of 2018. There are other things that need to be done to it but finances don't agree quite yet.

Why did you buy this particular car?: I have always loved Pontiac vehicles. The Firebird and Trans Am have always been my favorite cars.

Any interesting facts about this car?: This car is my first muscle car ever owning. This automobile has given me many opportunities to do things with my children and really pushed me into the car show and car club scene.

Who helped you restore this car?: I have been doing most of the work myself except for the rear end.

Have you taken any special trips?: Not yet.

Has the car won any awards?: Yes. Tied Second place last year at the Bill Rapp show.

What has been the most enjoyable aspect of owning this car?: Just getting out and socializing with other car enthusiasts.

What are your future plans for this car and do you own any more Pontiacs?: I plan on a complete restoration later on down the road.
